Alberta-born and BC-raised, Grant is a lawyer, author, humanitarian, small-holding organic farmer, and family man who believes that Canada has lost its moorings from the value system that built this nation.
He believes Canada is being undermined by post-nationalism and the Liberal “reset” agenda. Before these serious challenges facing Canada became impossible to ignore, Grant had a very diverse career leading in International Development across Asia, Africa, the Middle East, and Eastern Europe by combining tools from the humanitarian and social impact investment sector. Over the last twenty years, he has worked in some of the most risk-laden countries and understands how people, families and communities flourish when they are given the tools and opportunities to succeed. He holds degrees in Business, Law and Humanities. Grant is married to Caroline, his wife of 30 years, and they have four sons.
While Grant is not a career politician, he is a reformer and entered into the race for the leadership of the Conservative Party of Canada in 2022. Having raised the necessary $300,000.00 and attained the nomination requirements from across the country, his bid to participate was blocked by the party officials. He believes that the Conservative Party is failing to engage the real issues, causing Canada to be deconstructed. By omission to challenge these threats to Canada, the Conservative Party is camouflaging the real issues and totally failing Canadians. Grant has the tenacity to see truth, justice, civility, respect and uprightness restored to our nation. He yearns to see the promises of Canada re-established for all Canadians.
Grant adamantly believes Canada will never be governed by the United Nations, the World Health Organization or the World Economic Forum. Along with a group of patriotic citizens from across the country, he launched the Reforge Party in Canada to provide a response to this deconstructive threat and return Canada to the founding principles that will restore truth, justice and freedom to our people and the nation of Canada.
The Canada we love will be re-established. Free. Prosperous. Great.
The Reforge Party, formerly known as the United Party of Canada, has evolved in response to a deepening national crisis. Originally founded to offer a united, principled alternative to the dominant political forces in Ottawa, the party has grown through a period of profound reflection on Canada’s founding ideals and the urgent threats facing the nation. This evolution reflects a clear recognition that Canada’s constitutional framework and cultural inheritance—rooted in principles of life, liberty, truth, justice, and peace—are under deliberate and sustained attack. As these challenges intensified, the party sharpened its purpose: not merely to participate in the existing system, but to lead a decisive effort to restore and renew the country.
In early 2026, the party underwent a significant transformation, changing its name to the Reforge Party. This was more than a rebranding. It marked a bold shift from a platform of unity within the broken system to one of active reconstruction. The name “Reforge” captures the conviction that Canada is fragmenting under deconstructive forces—including judicial overreach, bills like C-9 that erode protections for biblical and honestly held beliefs, economic policies fostering dependency, and a vision of a “post-nation” future. Rather than accepting decline, the party now explicitly positions itself as the force that will gather the fragments of the original Canada and reforge them into something stronger.
The Reforge Party’s vision is rooted in the firm belief that the true Canada that we mourn is alive in the hearts of its free sons and daughters and that the promises of Canada will be re established again. It calls for a renewed nation under the Supremacy of God and Rule of Law that enshrines the inalienable rights of the people in a constitutional republic where government serves the people starting in Alberta first. We understand that Alberta will begin and quickly be joined in the reforging process with the rest of Western Canada.
Today, the Reforge Party stands as a clear opposition to the prevailing political trends. It rejects despair and submission, choosing instead a message of life, patriotism, and human flourishing grounded in enduring principles and the resilient values that built our people, our culture, values and traditions.. Canadians now face a stark choice: continue on the current path toward national dissolution or join the effort to reforge a sovereign, prosperous Canada built on its original foundations of life and light. The party invites all who love this nation to stand with them in this decisive work.
A Symbol of Canada’s True Foundations: Our logo features three conjoined red maple leaves — a direct and intentional revival of the historic design from Canada’s 1921 coat of arms. These three leaves are profoundly significant: they represent the foundational pillars of our nation — the East, the West, and First Nations — standing together as equal partners in a balanced, honest federation. Unlike the simplified single leaf that replaced it, the three-leaf emblem tells a fuller story of Canada’s distinct regions, peoples, and shared heritage.

The Pearson Pennant: In the early 1960s, Prime Minister Lester B. Pearson championed this design — known as the Pearson Pennant — with white field, three red maple leaves, and blue vertical bars evoking Gods’ dominion from sea to sea. It carried deep historical resonance and a vision of unity grounded in Canada’s actual foundations. Yet during the heated Great Flag Debate of 1964, the Liberals railroaded the process. Pearson’s own preferred design was sidelined through devious partisan maneuvering in the parliamentary flag committee. The Liberals, holding a majority on the committee, surprised the Progressive Conservatives by voting for the single-leaf design instead of their leader’s pennant. This created a unanimous vote that masked the divisions and portrayed the outcome as broadly supported. What followed were weeks of bitter debate, filibusters, and closure motions that ultimately forced through the simpler red-and-white single maple leaf flag. Many saw this as reflecting a more liberal, homogenized vision of Canadian identity that streamlined symbols at the expense of richer historical, regional, and foundational layering.
Today, the Pearson Pennant stands as a powerful emblem of hope for a reforged Canada — one grounded in truth, balance, and respect for all who built this land. We invite our supporters to fly the three-leaf symbol, display it proudly, and share its story wherever possible. In your communities, on social media, at events, and in everyday life, let this banner remind Canadians of the fuller, stronger vision it represents. By reviving it, we plant seeds of national renewal and call our country back to its deeper roots. Join us in waving the Pennant for a prouder, more united, and more honest Canada.
Grant understands the clear distinction between good and evil, and right and wrong. He has witnessed first-hand how conflict, poverty, and lack of opportunity can impoverish and destroy people, families, and communities. He also knows how people can flourish when given the right education, training, and equal opportunities to succeed.
Grant is prepared to lead Canada into a much brighter and better future where all Canadians will walk together in freedom, peace, and prosperity.
The legal framework that supports our way of life is being deconstructed and rewritten before our eyes. This brutal truth will never be told to us directly as a statement of policy to vote against until it is too late for us to respond meaningfully.
This is a wake-up call for the conservative right in Canada that reveals a paradigm shift for how to deal with the corrosive leftist agenda that is destroying our nation and ultimately asks the question that will unsettle every Harper 2.0 conservative in Canada:
If the Liberals can deconstruct Canada with a minority government, imagine what the populists, the social conservatives, and the Christian right can do to reshape the political landscape by presenting a united voice that champions the core values that built this nation and neutralizes the darkness that is undermining Canadian families, our communities, and our national sovereignty?
